St. Walburge’s is opening its doors to visitors and giving them an amazing opportunity to climb up the spire next Saturdays 19th, 26th July, 2nd and 9th August 2025 from 1pm to 5pm.
Visitors will be able to ascend the 309-foot (94 metre) high spire, which is the third tallest spire in the UK, and the tallest on a parish church.
All proceeds will go to assist in the maintenance of this structure and especially the restoration of the roof of the church.
