EASTER SUNDAY NEWSLETTER

Dear Friends,

Please find attached the newsletter for Easter Sunday 2016

The celebrations of Holy Week and Easter, retracing the mysteries by which Our Lord redeemed us, were particularly beautiful this year. Many thanks to you all: for cleaning and preparing the church, for arranging flowers; to the dedicated singers and organists; to our team of altar servers; to everyone who invited friends to the holy ceremonies.

The Roman Ritual contains a special blessing for houses during the Easter season: please contact the Shrine if you would like for a priest to come bless your house.

With best wishes to you and your families in this holy season,

sincerely,

Canon Altiere.

PASSION SUNDAY 2016

Dear Friends,

Please find attached the newsletter for Passion Sunday 2016.

The Holy Week schedule, which is already posted on our website and facebook page (ICKSP St Walburge), will also be printed in full in next week’s newsletter.

Please consider spending half an hour or more watching at the Altar of Repose on Maundy Thursday 24th March (circa 7:30 pm to midnight).

Yours faithfully,

Canon Altiere.

FIRST SUNDAY OF LENT NEWSLETTER

Dear Friends,

Please find attached the newsletter for Lent I 2016

Next Saturday we will be holding out Lent retreat day from 11.30 am to 2.45 pm (with Mass celebrated as usual at 10.30 am). For the Jubilee Year of Mercy, the retreat this year will focus on this important and often misunderstood theme. Please feel free to invite others to attend: it would be a spiritual work of mercy to do so!

Sincerely,

Canon Altiere.
