Climb one of the UK’s tallest buildings and Preston’s highest point!

St. Walburge’s is opening its doors to visitors and giving them an amazing opportunity to climb up the spire next Saturdays 19th, 26th July, 2nd and 9th August 2025 from 1pm to 5pm.

Visitors will be able to ascend the 309-foot (94 metre) high spire, which is the third tallest spire in the UK, and the tallest on a parish church.

All proceeds will go to assist in the maintenance of this structure and especially the restoration of the roof of the church.

Tickets can be purchased online; no ticket sales at the door

St Walburge’s Quizz night

Do you have what it takes to be the ultimate quiz champion? Then, gather your friends and join us for Quiz Night at St Walburge’s Hall on Saturday 17th May, 6.30pm. This is your chance to show off your knowledge and have fun in a friendly competition.

We are holding this event to support our campaign to restore the roof of the iconic St Walburge’s Church in Preston.
