Two events this Thursday:

– All–day Eucharistic Adoration in reparation for sins 12noon – 5.30pm in the day chapel

– and at 6pm,  the blessing of candles, procession & Sung Mass for  Candlemas,  the Feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 40 days after Jesus was born when He was presented in the Temple according to the Mosaic Law.

Saturday, 4th February

A teaching on the Brown Scapular of Our Lady Followed by enrolment Young children and their parents are invited to join us for Holy Mass at 12pm in the church followed by activities.

A Requiem Mass for Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI will be celebrated at St Peter & Paul and St Philomena Church on Thursday 5th January 2023 at 6.30pm

Requiem æternam dona eis, Domine, et lux perpetua luceat eis.

There will be no 8.30am Mass on Friday, 11th November. Daily Mass will be offered at 12 noon and 6.30pm on Friday.

Canon Poucin delivers his second talk ‘An Introduction to St Paul – His life, his missions’

There will be no evening Mass on Monday, 10th October. Exceptionally, daily Mass on Monday will be at 8.30am.

Canon Poucin presents the first part of the an Introduction to St. Paul.

Depending on the level of interest, a bus  maybe organised to attend the 2022 March for Life in London on the 3rd September.

In England and Wales, the feast of Ss Peter and Paul is an Holy Day of Obligation, meaning Catholics must attend Holy Mass.

Mass will be at 6.30pm on Wednesday, 29th June 2022.
