Canon Amaury Montjean, Rector

Born in Pau, he lived the first 10 years of his life in the south of France, moving to Versailles for 8 years, after a brief sojourn in London. After compulsory education, he studied engineering for 1 year before moving to Gricigliano, Florence, to discern his vocation. There followed 6 years’ intensive study in seminary and he was ordained priest in 2002. His first appointment was in Montpellier where he was Head Teacher of a Primary School and Chaplain to a Latin Mass group for 9 years. Following a short incumbency as Chaplain in Port-Marly in the Diocese of Versailles, he became Rector of the Shrine in September 2012.

In September 2022, the territory of Great Britain was declared a Province and Canon Montjean became Provincial.

Canon Ryan Post, Assistant Priest

Canon is from Buffalo, New York in the United States and was ordained to the priesthood by His Eminence Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke on the 4th July 2019.

Having most recently served as Assistant Priest at St Walburge’s at Preston, Canon will spend three days per week assisting the Rector at The Dome of Home. He will continue to have responsibilites at St Benedict’s Cultural Centre.
